St. Aldebrando is the patron saint of Fossombrone, a beautiful town rich in history along the ancient Via Flaminia route. The Diocese celebrates the saint on May 1st, and in his honor, the Sant'Aldebrando Fair takes place in the city, scheduled for Sunday, April 28th this year.
On Saturday, April 27th, in Corso Garibaldi, the commercial and social heart of the city, there will be a preview of the Fair with booths featuring handmade crafts, plants and flowers, typical food and wine, refreshment stands, and shopping opportunities in the lovely shops of the natural commercial center, all day long.
Sunday, April 28th, marks the traditional Fair, with approximately 150 mobile stalls of various merchandise types set up along Viale Cairoli and Viale della Repubblica from around 8:30 am to 8 pm, creating the typical atmosphere of village festivals, one of the city's traditions to preserve and enhance.
It will be a weekend to celebrate the arrival of the beautiful season for all the inhabitants of the Metauro Valley and an opportunity for tourists to enjoy a pleasant outing discovering the art, culture, and natural environments of Fossombrone.
